The 24-year-old will co-star as producer, alongside Ronnie, 77, and her husband Jonathan Greenfield as executive producers, according to final date.
It will also produce Mark Platt (who produces live adaptations of The Little Mermaid and Dear Evan Hansen and Wicked), and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jackie Sibles Drury in early talks to write the script.
It comes after A24 made deals about her life and rights in her 1990 autobiography Be My Baby, which she wrote with Vince Waldron.
