And because you are engaged in these works in the field of safety, as well as in road safety, you are brilliant children – said Przemyslav Kzarnik, Minister of Education and Science, during the ceremonial announcement of the winners of the literary competition directed to students in grades four to seven. During the ceremony, which was attended by First Lady of the Republic of Poland Agata Kornhauser-Duda and heads of Polish Radio and Television, parts of the best works were read by: Minister of Education and Science Przemyslaw Kzarnik and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda.
Winners of the “Your Safe Vacation” Literary Contest
The competition committee chose the best 7 works out of 416 tales and fairy tales. The winners – Junior Road Safety Ambassadors – demonstrated their knowledge of regulations applicable to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists as well.

Literary competition entitled “Your safe leave” organized by the Land Transport Inspectorate
The competition was announced in April of this year, and the students had one month to submit works – stories or fairy tales. The competition was conducted in two categories: fourth to fifth grades and sixth to seventh grades.
Participation in the competition required creative participation from the participants, and the submitted work had to refer to at least three rules applicable in road traffic. The stories presented should have included holiday plots. The authors could not forget that one of the heroes of holiday adventures should be the Crocodylic Terek – the mascot of the Land Transport Inspection.
The competition draws the attention of younger road users to the importance of their own safety and the safety of others on the road. It promotes correct attitudes and enables the generalization of road safety knowledge among its youngest participants.
