What is worth knowing?
- Sports baggage is usually carried on the train free of charge.
- Sports equipment should be placed above the passenger seat, if there is no room there – ask the train hostess where to put it. Remember, if the employee offers you a seat out of your field of view, they are responsible for the baggage.

Traveling by car – check tires
Are you planning a car trip? Before leaving, change to winter tires.
For example, in Austria, Germany or the Czech Republic, winter tires are mandatory in winter conditions. In Slovakia or Bulgaria, this obligation does not depend on the condition of the road. In Bulgaria, passenger cars with winter tires must be operated from November 15 to March 1, and in Slovakia from November 15 to March 15. In Italy and France, winter equipment is mandatory in designated regions/municipalities.

Hotel – Complaint about service quality
Upon arriving at the hotel, it turned out to be not in line with the show. Report it to the service immediately. If the hotel does not provide the correct service – you can advertise it. For this purpose, take care of the evidence (photo taking / video recording). Remember to submit your complaint in writing. If you have booked a place to stay through an intermediary portal – also submit your complaint there.

Make an EHIC card
Get your European Health Insurance Card before you travel. It is an EU document confirming your right to free treatment. If you already have a card, check if it is still valid.
