The White House announced, on Friday, that talks are underway between US President Joe Biden and leaders of the most important NATO countries, including Poland, as well as representatives of the European Union authorities and the Secretary-General of the Alliance. The subject is the crisis caused by the concentration of Russian forces around Ukraine.

As reported by the White House, the virtual meeting began at 20.45 Polish time. The leaders are scheduled to hold a conference on diplomatic measures and measures to deter Russia.

Apart from Biden, the following people are participating in the conversation: Poland’s President Andrzej Duda, France’s Emmanuel Macron, Romania’s Klaus Iohannis, Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Schulz, Great Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Italy’s Mario. Draghi, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
