The Chicago Cat was fleeing a fire that broke out in one of the apartments on the fifth floor. The situation happened Thursday afternoon – ABC News reported.

Firefighters from Chicago’s unit were recorded while putting out the fire. Suddenly, a black cat appeared in the video from among the smoke in the broken window. The animal tried to save itself from the element.
A moment before the jump, the cat quickly tested the wall of the building, then darted with its feet.
Many people gasped at the sight of it. It looks like the cat will die. However, the pet crossed the wall and landed on four legs on the grass. She bounced back and ran away.
A spokesman for the local fire department, Larry Langford, said the cat was hiding under the car. The quadruple felt better after a few minutes and tried to climb the wall to get back.
