Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a late acrobatic goal to take his league tally to seven this season to give Serie A leaders Milan a tough 2-1 victory over Udinese on Sunday.
Udinese defender Sebastian Di Maio attempted a clearance, and Ibrahimovi, with his back to the goal, fired the ball into the net with an overhead kick in the 83rd minute despite the lack of proper contact.
The 39-year-old set up Milan’s opening goal for Frank Casey in the 18th minute before Udinese equalized with a controversial penalty kick over Rodrigo de Paul three minutes into the first half.

Milan have 16 points from six games, four ahead of Atalanta, while struggling Udinese have three.
The away side took the lead after Frank Casey fired the net after a superb job from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 39-year-old dropped a Ismail Bennasser cross and put it on Casey’s road at the edge of the area and the Ivory Coast international hit the ball into the back of the net through the crossbar.
Milan dominated most of the first half, with Casey shooting just before halftime, Ibrahimovi stung Juan Muso after slashing to the right and firing a shot the Argentine had to dodge.

After the end of the first half, Udinese won a penalty after Ignacio Busetto dropped Alessio Romanioli, and Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma hit in the right direction, but De Paul scored the penalty in the upper right corner.
The match seemed to start with a draw until Ibrahimovi scored an amazing winner, with the Swedish killer scoring from inside the six-yard area with a scissor kick to his shoulder and into the bottom corner.
Initially, Udinese defender Sebastian Di Maio did a good job of deflecting Ante Rebek’s cross in the air until Zlatan made the acrobatic finish at close range.
Stefano Pioli’s side are now four points ahead of the Serie A, unbeaten after five wins and one draw from their first six games.
