They create an online database of urban culture resources

In response to the difficult situation after 2020, the common resource base of ód culture is being created in ód. It is an initiative of the city’s department of culture. It is meant to be a base that supports local cooperation between institutions, NGOs, artists or companies working in the field of culture.

As the office explains, a database is an online space for sharing knowledge about cultural resources – equipment, space, program showcases, and talents.

– In accordance with the approved “Lodz City Cultural Development Policy 2020+”, we carry out a number of activities aimed at supporting and developing the Lodz cultural sector. One of them is the creation of a shared online resource space, where, institutions, NGOs, informal groups, culture artists and entrepreneurs will be able to share information for free about the possibility of providing space, equipment, tools and other cultural resources – explains Małgorzata Moskwa-Wodnicka, Vice President of Lodz.

I encourage you to use the new tool that will support the building of a local network of cooperation and may be useful in designing and implementing activities for 2021. A shared resource base is a shared space I invite you to contribute to – he adds.

The tool is available on the office’s website. As the local government demonstrates, access to shared resources is assumed to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs for implemented projects, or expand the program offer.

The database contains resources that can be used to organize cultural and educational initiatives and projects implemented for the benefit of the residents of ód.

Culture in ód

The catalog of shared resources is extensive and caters to various needs. Electronic equipment, exhibition equipment, theater, workshop rooms, computer rooms, workshops, performances, concerts and exhibitions – the judge explains.
