Parents from Chengdu in southwestern Sichuan Province decided to use an unusual educational method and decided to leave their 13-year-old daughter on a deserted island. The teenage girl was supposed to do “mental exercises under harsh conditions” for her “rebellion”.
According to “The Sun”, after two days on an island in Weihai, east China’s Shandong Province, the girl asked for help from a local fisherman. She said she could no longer “face the harsh conditions any longer.” All she has is water and crackers. You couldn’t even start a fire.
Panicked, the fisherman called the police who took the young man from the island.
The 13-year-old’s parents told the media that their daughter had psychological problems and left school last September. “She didn’t even want to leave the house,” said the teen’s mother.
