Bing is not the most chosen search engine – both in Poland and in other countries. However, sometimes, when some apps are installed, they are forced on us, so without reading the little rules, they may be installed without our knowledge.
There are a lot of such people, as evidenced by very interesting statistics presented by Google itself. During one of the court sessions, during which they discussed possible fraudulent actions aimed at “smashing” competing search engines, representatives of the American company announced that The most common phrase in Microsoft Bing is exactly the word: “google”.
Google’s lawyer commented on the whole situation as follows:
We have proof that the most searched term on Bing is the Google search engine. People use Google because they want to, not because they have to. […] 95% of users prefer Google over competing search engines.
