The first case concerns the disqualification of illicit substance use by the women’s 4×6 km relay race in Russia, which won the silver medal during the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Originally, the Russian women won the case at the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. However, one of them, Olga Zaitseva, did not use the right of appeal. As a result, the International Olympic Committee finally decided to change the order of this competition. The silver medal was awarded to Norway and the bronze medal to the Czech Republic. Ukraine won.

The International Olympic Committee also approved a change in the results of the 4 x 100 meters for athletes from the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. The British won the silver disc in the Japanese capital. One of them, which was even confirmed by the B sample, Chijindu Ujaha, supported himself with steroids. In this case, the silver disc went to Canada and the bronze to China. The Italians won the gold medal.
