Castle Opera is preparing for a charity concert for Ukraine. The artists will perform “Requiem in D Minor” KV 626 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Castle Opera organizes a charity concert performed by soloists: Małgorzata Godlewska, Victoria Vatutina, Pavlo Tolstoy, Rafał Pawnuk, and the Castle Opera choir and orchestra under the leadership of Małgorzata Bornowska.

The audience will hear Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Requiem Mass in D Minor” KV 626. The entrance ticket to the concert will be a “donation” – money tossed in a Caritas box. A fundraising campaign will take place before the start of the concert, and all proceeds will be donated to humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

“+ Requiem + is Mozart’s greatest sacred work, a monumental and enjoyable piece of music, immersed in Catholic tradition, a tragic reflection in the beginning and the end, a mixture of two worlds – the temporal, where suffering rules, and the future – a place of endless happiness “- affirms press spokeswoman Oprah at Magdalena Gagio-Kumichiac Castle.

The concert will take place on Saturday, March 19 at 19.30 at Garrison Church. St. Wojciech in Szczecin (PAP)
