Krakow residents certainly don’t have to worry about boredom this summer. The organizers of the Arena Garden have prepared a lot of attractions. You will be able to eat delicious food, participate in workshops, go to a concert or stand. There will also be events for the youngest of them.
The holiday area under the TAURON Arena Krakow offers a lot of unique impressions and atmosphere. Surely everyone will find something for themselves. A summer garden has been created under the performance hall. There are sun loungers for those intending to sunbathe and wicker huts with sun umbrellas. There is no shortage of vegetation, min. Tropical palm trees. Immediately next to it is a newly created garden with a pond, which has already earned the name “Krakow Maldives”. It’s the perfect place to unwind and spend a nice afternoon after work or a summer weekend with friends and family.
This year, you can also use the area inside the TAURON Arena. In the lounge foyer, a private café space has been created with comfortable sofas, where you can shelter from the heat or rain. It is also an ideal place for those who just want to relax. In contrast, in the Little Hall of TAURON Arena Krakow, we will find Arena Coffee arranged in a summery setting.
The space designers also made sure it was photogenic. So there were “selfie places” that encouraged people to take pictures and tag them on their social media. So we’ll find a neon botanical wall for this year’s district #Take a look, or the lit inscription “Garden Arena”, and colorful swings. From this year the area can be rented, for example for a birthday party or company integration.
Under the arena, you will also find great food trucks serving cuisines from all over the world, so everyone will surely find something for themselves. Of course, we can’t miss pizza, gyros and burgers, but we’ll also eat ramen, sushi, Mexican tacos and Hungarian cuisine, and sample Indian and even Moroccan specialties. There are also sweets, cold beer and colorful drinks waiting for us.
There are also entertainment and cultural events under the ring. Every Thursday evening, the theater belongs to Michał Wójcik from Ania Mru-Mru Cabaret and Krzysztof Ferdyn from Niegrzeczni cabaret. They will be accompanied by special guests, incl. Stand-ups, cabaret artists, radio operators, artists and entrepreneurs. Krakow musicians, jazz and blues bands will also play. The street festival organized by KTO Theater will be held in July. There will also be outdoor film screenings as part of Nowa Huta Cinemas and the Green Film Festival. In August, a concert will be held in memory of the great musician who passed away this year – a tribute to Krzysztof Krause. Therefore, it is worth following the Arena Garden social media so that you do not miss any attractive event.
But the Arena Garden is not only a great place to relax on a chaise longue, the organizers encourage you to spend time actively. After several months at home, it is worth taking part in the “Krakow in Figure” project. Everyone will be able to play outdoor sports, and the sports offer is very wide. Since the beginning of June, lessons have also started in the series “Moving Arena – Presentation of Municipal Sports for Children and Youth”, organized in cooperation with the Sports Department of the Nicolas Copernican University. Younger ones will be able to take part in trainings in football, badminton, basketball, martial arts and even Latin American dances. In turn, as part of the series “Arena in motion with Decathlon” every Sunday in there will be sports activities for children at 11:00, and every Wednesday at 19:00 – running training for adults. They will be led by the best coaches from Decathlon Kraków.
