The inevitable time has come – in less than a month, on June 1st, Google Photos will stop being free. How much will we pay for the monthly subscription and who will avoid paying the fees?
Google Photos is not free anymore
This is the last month when we can enjoy free unlimited access to Google Photos. Already in November of last year, the giant from Mountain View announced that from June 2021 we will have to pay for this service.

However, the good news is that the photos and videos that we currently keep in the app will not count towards the cap – this means that on June 1, 2021, everyone will receive a new additional 15GB of space, after which a payment will be required.
Google estimates that 80% of users will take around 15GB to fill the space Three years. This means that if you are not going to stop using Google Photos, you will have to pay for it sooner or later.
What will it cost? Cheapest Google One monthly subscription (100GB) 8.99 PLN. We will pay 200 GB 13,99 Per month and 2 TB 46.99 PLN.
However, Pixel smartphone owners can breathe a sigh of relief – Google device owners are exempt from any charges.
