Wolverhampton’s start on Monday was very significant. The win allowed them to move closer to two of the top spots in the Premier League table – Peterborough Panthers and Bell View Ice. However, the contender was not just anyone, because in the ranks of the Sheffield Tigers there are such players as Jack Holder or Troy Batchelor.

The meeting started off quite smoothly. The first four qualifiers were tied and the hosts won only in the fifth round. As it turned out later, they did not give up this lead to the end. Moreover, they have systematically increased their advantages. At the moment of rush it was up to 14 points. But in the end, the guests managed to make up some distance from their competitors.
