Roxy is back after 11 years. The group announced a concert tour to celebrate their fiftieth anniversary
The debut album “Roxy Music” was released on June 16, 1972. After 50 years, the band decided to celebrate their debut by going on tour. It’s a unique event because the last time the band appeared on the scene was 11 years ago. In 2022 we will see singer Brian Ferry together; Ego, guitarist Phil Manzanera, saxophonist Andy McKayand drummer Paul Thompson.

The Roxy celebration will begin on September 7, 2022 in Toronto and will be visiting the UK after a few concerts in the US. The tour will end on October 14 and so far there are no indications that the band will be coming to Poland. On March 31, tickets for the European part of the concerts will be sold out, and on April 4 – for the American part.

But this is not the end. Roxy Music has announced that all of its albums have been re-released and will be released as limited vinyl. Thanks to the half-speed mastering method, the new releases stand out with a very good sound. We will receive the first discs of this type on the 1st of April and they will be “Roxy Music” and “For Your Pleasure”.
