The year is drawing to a close and it is time for summaries and awards. The editors of the French newspaper L’Equipe announced their Athlete of the Year. The top 10 men were also awarded – the top ten and the women ten separately. In these elite rankings there are two Poles – Robert Lewandowski and Ija wiفيtik! L’Equipe journalists have expressed their appreciation for the Polish winner of the European Champions League and the exciting champion of the French Paris Open. Who became athlete and sportsman of the year? And where did Lewandowski and vetiek find themselves in the L’Equipe poll?

It has been a special year, as the sports struggle has been torpedoed by the coronavirus epidemic. Now is the time for summaries and rewards. According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Lewis Hamilton and Mart Olsbo Roisland deserve the 2020 Sportsman of the Year. The British became once again the world champion in Formula 1. The Norwegian women dominated the athletes ’competition. L’Équipe has awarded Champions Awards every year since 1975. This time, two Poles were on the list of the top 10 men and women. French Journalists expressed their appreciation to Robert Lewandowski and Ija vetiek. The Bayern Munich star, who won more awards and accolades after a great year, was sixth.
