Rafai Brzezowski, this year’s Polish representative during the Euro 65 contest, did not make it to the finals of the event. The song “The Ride” did not seem to appeal to jurors and television viewers, as did other songs shown on Thursday. Internet users already comment on the situation in their own way, that is, by creating memes. We have compiled the best ones for you.
Eurovision final without Rafai Brzozowski
Rafai Brzozowski’s song “The Ride” Didn’t get good feedback from the start. It was loudly criticized, for example, by Elżbieta Zapendowska and Michał Wiśniewski, and most importantly, the song was called the least liked song among Eurovision fans themselves, who could vote on the Internet for the worst and best song for this year’s concert.
And the artist kept repeating that he did not know why his song received such unfavorable comments in Poland, because foreign journalists congratulated him on it. Brzozowski himself compared “The Ride” to the songs of British singer Dua Lipa, a two-time Grammy winner. Unfortunately, the piece was not appreciated among the jurors and viewers, whose number of votes did not lead the singer to the finals.
