Podlasie Biaystok players in the Polish national team for the European Team Championship

At the end of the last week of May (29-30 May), the European Athletics Championships will be held in Khorezov. The Polish national team includes 4 athletes from our region.

In 2019, during the competition in Bydgoszcz, Biao Zerone became European champion for the first time in history. Poland will soon try to defend the prestigious title, and on its territory, because the next version of DME will be organized again in the country located on the Vistula River. This time in Chorzów at the Silesian Stadium. More than 7,000 people will be able to watch the event from the stands. Viewers.

The Polish crew for the upcoming event consists of 54 people. 4 athletes from this group represent Podlasie Biaystok colors on a daily basis. We’re talking about Marlena Jolie (200m and 4x100m relay), Camila Lewenco (high jump), Claudia Cardash (shot put) and Damien Szikira (110m hurdles).

During the European 9th Team Championship Silesia 2021, 7 teams will present themselves. Aside from Poland, these are: Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Portugal, and Ukraine.
