The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress long-range strategic bombers returned from the World Air Force Command to the United Kingdom last week, To complete the long-planned bomber task force.
The missions of the Bomber Task Force are regularly defined by US European Command and US Strategic Command.
On its way to the RAF Fairford, a US bomber combined with two British Typhoons and a Portuguese F-16, currently assigned to the Icelandic flight control mission to NATO. The bombers are also integrated with British Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) For the purpose of conducting bilateral training on close air support– The US Air Force said in a statement.
