Soon the Netflix animation library will be expanded by another interesting element. Wild Bunch International has announced that the streaming giant has acquired the distribution rights to the French-Luxembourg animated film top of the gods (Kamigami no Itadaki), based on the Japanese manga of the same title by Jiro Taniguchi.
It has been officially announced that this production will be shown in select cinemas in the USA (November 24) and Great Britain (November 26). However, the international premiere on the Netflix platform will happen exactly November 30, 2021. Check out a new preview of this project below.

Interestingly enough, the Taniguchi manga is not a prototype for this story. Mangaka is modeled after the Baku Yumemakura book. This is the story of photographer Fukamachi who travels to the mountains of Nepal, where he finds a camera belonging to lost mountaineer George Mallory. Then Fukamachi met Habu Joji, who has experience in climbing, and they set out on an unusual journey together.
