Netflix has released a trailer for the kids show “Gofcia and Mochi” starring Michelle Obama. You can find the advertisement later in the article.

Two friends – dolls Gofcio and Mochi – try to infect all the kitchens, restaurants, markets, farms and homes they visit with their love for fresh food.

I’m so excited to be joining this fun, intimate and magical show – and I’m not saying this just because of the Flying Cart, which is one of the champions. I wish there was such a program when my daughters were young. It is likely that entertainment will appeal to the whole family, but it will also give parents confidence that their children will learn something of value. This project is an extension of my efforts to support children’s health that I undertook as First Lady. We know everyone loves good food and interesting stories. And this is exactly what our unusual and adventurous heroes offer, whether they discover the possibilities of using potatoes, the world of silage, or the art of cleaning up broken eggs. I am delighted that Gofcia and Mochi are also involved in projects outside of the program, working with Partnership for a Healthier America to work together to help children implement healthy habits as well as empower families in need with access to fresh food products that can be used together – home cooking. No matter what Gofcia and Mochi do, I always enjoy laughing and exploring the world of food and cooking with the characters. I am sure you and your kids will love this format too.

Michelle Obama was saying

Once, in the depths of the Land of Frozen Food, lived two friends named Juvisia and Mocci, united by a common dream: to become chefs! Only problem? Everything they cooked was made of ice. When these two good-natured friends are hired as the newest employees of a weird supermarket, they are ready for the culinary adventure of their lives. With the help of friendly new faces like supermarket owner Mrs. Obama and the Magic Flying shopping cart as their guide, Gofcia and Mochi embark on a global mission to find ingredients, and travel to kitchens, restaurants, farms and homes around the world. Together, they cook simple ingredients alongside famous chefs, home chefs, children, and celebrities. Whether they pick potatoes from the Andes in Peru, try spices in Italy, or make miso in Japan, these curious explorers continue to search for unique flavors and find that every meal is an opportunity to meet new friends.
