Prime Minister Moraviki said in an intervention on social media that during a meeting yesterday in Zagreb, he spoke with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic mainly on security issues.

“In this part of the Balkans, everyone knows very well from their own experience what the migration crisis means. What we are dealing with in Belarus and at the Polish-Belarus border is primarily the use of migrants to deeply destabilize this part of Europe – the Prime Minister wrote on Facebook.

destabilize Europe

Moraveki emphasizes in his intervention that in order to understand the meaning of what is happening today, several elements must be combined:

“1- Attempts to destabilize Europe and the European Union are an issue of an artificially induced migration crisis.”

2. Activities of the concentration of Russian forces around Ukraine, the Kaliningrad region and elsewhere.

3. An energy crisis caused by a sharp rise in fuel consumption and gas prices through Gazprom and Russia.

4. Acts of disinformation and dissemination of various kinds of false news and propaganda, which work intensively in several departments – in order to divide the countries of the European Union among themselves.

The Prime Minister adds that in order to strengthen the European Union, Poland is cooperating with Croatia in building the Three Seas Initiative. In his opinion, cooperation in the field of road and energy infrastructure creates new horizons for the countries of the region. The Polish Prime Minister affirms that “in order to take full advantage of this initiative, we support the efforts of Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria to join the Schengen area.”
