Sony announced it is Discord compatible. At the end of this year, the Messenger should be arriving on PlayStation consoles.
As some of you remember well, streak negotiations Discord – Microsoft It ended in a catastrophic failure. The company responsible for the popular caller rejected the company’s offer from Redmond and … I started talks with Sony about adding an app for PlayStation consoles!
This position was mentioned by PlayStation President – Jim Ryan – who indicated that his team is constantly looking for new ways to enable players from all over the world to make new friends. Discord has more than 140 million customers worldwide to help with this mission:
Our teams are already working hard on connecting Discord to social media and PlayStation Network games. Our goal is to bring the Discord and PlayStation experience to consoles and mobile devices starting early next year, allowing friends, groups and communities to spend time, have fun, and communicate more easily while playing games together.
The impetus for Sony’s investment in the company led by Jason Citron and Stane Vishnevskiy was the fact that Discord founders had a great love for video games for many years. This collaboration combines their passion with PlayStation plans, and aims to bring many additions to the PlayStation community.
