Where will Harry and Meg stay during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee?
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is a much anticipated period in the calendar because of its historical significance and because the festivities will coincide with a much-needed break.
With the 96-year-old’s seventh decade thriving with festivities across the UK, Brits will also be enjoying the extended weekend.
The end of the May public holiday has been pushed back to June 2 to be a four-day weekend from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.
Harry and Meghan, who have moved to California, will return to the UK to celebrate the occasion.
The couple are expected to reside in the family’s first home, Frogmore Cottage, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Despite living in a £11m home in Los Angeles, the Sussexes still rent out the property that was their home before moving to the US.
Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, now occupy the property with their son Augustus.
Upon arrival in the UK, guest rooms are expected to open to accommodate the couple.
Harry had previously been staying at the cottage in April 2021 when he returned from the United States to attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip.
