On the occasion of the 95th Anniversary of Polish Radio and the 90th Anniversary of the Regional Radio Station in ód, an exhibition entitled “In the Wave.. History of Radio in the Second Polish Republic” has been prepared. An exhibition containing photographs and archival documents showing the beginnings of Polish radio entitled “On the Wave.. History of Radio in the Second Polish Republic” has been prepared by the Lodz branch of the Institute for National Remembrance. The exhibition celebrates the 95th anniversary of Polish Radio and the 90th anniversary of the regional broadcasting station in ód.
“Polish radio broadcast its first program in 1926. In لودód there was first a radio station broadcasting a program from Warsaw, and since 1931 its own programs have been broadcasted,” – Marzyna Komوسيska from the National Education Branch Office of the Institute for National Memory in لودód told PAP . “In the interwar period, apart from the creation of the central industrial zone and the port in Gdynia, the Polish radio engineering investments, with a transatlantic radio station in Babes and the most powerful mast in Europe at that time in Razin, were one of the main achievements of the Polish state that Reborn, ”- she recalls.

The exhibition “On the Wave … The History of Radio in the Second Republic of Poland” will be available to guests of the special jubilee celebration of the 90th anniversary of Polish Radio ód at لودód Philharmonia on Friday evening.
