Drivers who will stay in the UK for the longest period will have to take another test every 72 hours. You will be able to do it for free at more than 40 driver tests, and if you fail to do so, you will face a fine of £ 2000.
Starting April 6th, truck drivers will also have to fill out a localization form, as well as anyone else coming to the UK, and respect social distancing rules.
In recent days, the British media reported that due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in Europe, the British government intends to introduce a mandatory test for truck drivers who are exempt from the obligation to obtain a negative test result before arrival.

All other people must take the test within 72 hours before arrival, then take two more tests, payment to be made – & nbspw & nbsp on the second day and after arrival.
France suspended traffic through the English Channel for two days, then the introduction of the obligation to check all drivers entering its territory at the end of December last year. Huge traffic jams at the entrance to the tunnel and the ferry ports on the English side, which took several days to empty.
However, as the British Road Transport Association (RHA) indicated on Friday, the introduction of driver testing compliance by the British government should not cause such a mess as it did in December, because there is already a driver testing infrastructure in place.
