Jungle camp star Aurelio Safina convicted of fraud

It actually caused Zoff in some RTL formats, but now Aurelio Savina has had trouble with the code. The reality TV star had to respond in court.

Eight years ago, Aurelio Safina fought for the heart of then-bachelor Anna Hoffbauer in front of the cameras. Although he left after a few episodes, he was remembered by television audiences. Above all, his short-tempered temperament and manly sayings drew the German-Italian into a permanent spot on reality TV.

At the beginning of 2015, he moved to the RTL jungle camp, followed by his participation in such shows as “Summer House of the Stars”, “Bachelor in Paradise” or currently “Temptation Island VIP”. But on Thursday, Aurelio Savina was not in front of the camera, but in the Bochum district court. A few months ago, the 44-year-old was accused of belonging to a criminal gang that caused traffic accidents with property damage in order to collect money from the insurance company.

But the tide turned during the trial: it could not be proven that the three incidents in which the TV star was involved were, in fact, fake. He is now reporting this in a video statement on Instagram. But Aurelio Savina is not innocent because he had to answer for one charge: false invoices. The 44-year-old had submitted the papers issued by the workshop to the insurance company with VAT and seized the money – out of ignorance, he claimed.
