The British “Guardian” writes about the case. We read on & nbspnim that citizens of European Union countries joined the group of potential beneficiaries of the program this year.
The most important things come first. The voluntary repatriation program has been in operation for many years. It is administered by the British Home Office, an institution similar to the Polish Ministry, which is responsible, among other things, for immigration policy.
Until now, however, the program has mainly targeted citizens of distant countries, not least those who belong to the European Union. Brussels has always been the custodian of the free movement of people within the borders of the European Union. Hence, the inclusion of such a program as well for EU citizens was out of the question.

Now that Great Britain has left the European Union, European citizens, including Poles, are joining the list of potential recipients of the voluntary repatriation program. As the “Guardian” wrote – the British government did so quietly.
What is the program about? People who voluntarily decide to return to their homeland will be able to count on the support of the British government. Not only will he pay for the return ticket, but he will also pay 2 & nbsptys. EGP from settlement allowance in your country of origin. This equates to approximately 10,000 PLN.
At the same time, the British government is informing all immigrants that they may remain in Great Britain. & nbspto despite Brexit. All they have to do is complete the relevant documents and they will get a settlement status. Then no one will expel them from the island.
