Valtteri Bottas was fastest in his third practice before the British Grand Prix.
Mercedes Valtteri Bottas won his third practice session ahead of Sunday’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Bottas clocked 1.25.873 and by 0.138 seconds beat the six-time world champion, course leader after three rounds of Briton Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes. Dutchman Max Verstappen of Red Bull scored for the third time, worse by 0.300 seconds.

On Saturday, Canadian Lance Stroll of Racing Point made another big upset, scoring for the fourth time worse than Bottas’s result by 0.703 seconds.
The Alfa Romeo team, in which Robert Kubica plays as a reserve and test driver, did not like it again. Italian Antonio Giovinazzi was 17th – lost 1952s and Art Kimi Raikkonen 19th – 2103s lost.
On Friday, Red Bull’s Verstappen won the first practice, and Racing Point’s Stroll unexpectedly won in the second.
Qualification for Sunday’s race at Silverstone will begin at 10:00 am. 15th.
