Mercedes confirmed in a press release that Hamilton’s contract with the team is only valid for next season. In 2022, Formula 1 is set to experience a technical and organizational revolution.

For the seven-time Formula One world champion, it will be the ninth season with Mercedes, which has triumphed among carmakers since the start of the “Hybrid Era” in 2014.
