We already know that most universities in Poznan tend to continue studying remotely also in the summer semester. Universities can count on financial support from the government for this. They will distribute 55 million PLN between universities to improve the distance learning process. It is around 850 PLN per lecturer.
55 million for universities to learn from
Financial support for the purchase of distance learning tools will be granted to all public universities supervised by the Minister of Education and Science and non-governmental universities with funding from public universities. The Minister of Education and Science stated, The amount of financial resources for individual universities was determined based on the average number of full-time academic teachers employed in individual universities in 2019.
The university authorities will decide the final allocation of the increased support. They are the ones who know the current needs better. The purchased equipment will remain the property of the University. It will be possible to make it available to employees to facilitate distance learning – said Minister of Education and Science Przemislav Kazarnik.
