  • Sony Cyberpunk 2077 has withdrawn from PlayStation Store.
  • The company added that whoever bought the game would receive a refund.

Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably the hottest video game of the year, but its launch was riddled with bugs in all versions. Unfortunately, the latest generation versions of the game are also experiencing a massive drop in performance.

Now, Sony has taken the perhaps unprecedented step of pulling the title from the PlayStation Store “until further notice”. Moreover, consumers who have purchased the game will also receive a refund.

“Your presence [Sony Interactive Entertainment – ed] We strive to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, so we will start offering a full refund to all players who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via the PlayStation Store, ”the company explained at website.

“Once we confirm your purchase of Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund,” Sony explained, adding that completion of a refund may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.

Sony Return policy It states that refunds cannot be issued for content that has already been downloaded or streamed, “unless the content is defective”. In other words, the Japanese company definitely seems to believe that Cyberpunk 2077 is defective with its consoles. However, it does make us wonder why Sony approved the game for its consoles in the first place after this.
