Referring to Radio Zait about the possibility of students returning to school, the Deputy Minister of Health confirmed that various scenarios are being considered in this regard.

We can see – and this is a very disturbing signal for us – what is happening in Europe, we can see what is the situation in Germany in terms of the number of disease cases and deaths. In Great Britain – records, France, Spain … these are really red lights for us, which also determine this decision, not just what is in our country – Gadomsky emphasized.
When asked if there is a chance the children will stay at home longer than the end of the winter break, the deputy head of the Ministry of Health said he does not like it very much. He said that many parents and many children are waiting for full-time education to return, for some social life and children’s lives to return.
I wouldn’t be optimistic – this is of course not an official position – but it seems to me that extending these restrictions will take some time, maybe two weeks, Gadomsky said.
According to the decree of the Minister of Education and Science, full-time school work was restricted, with some exceptions, to January 3, 2021. From December 23 to January 3, students were spending Christmas holidays. From January 4 to 17, winter vacation continues for all students across the country at the same time.
The Ministry of Education and Science affirms that the return of students in grades 1-3 to school will only be possible under the sanitation system. Health Minister Adam Nidzelsky announced Friday that the decision whether students from the smallest classes will return to full-time education after January 17, that is, after the winter break, or whether to study remotely, will be made next week.
