Apple Inc.’s new subscription package will be launched. , Apple One, on Friday, giving access to the company’s various services online at a lower price.
“We had customers come to us and ask for an easier way to buy all of our services and we wanted to provide that, and tomorrow we look forward to launching the Apple One there,” Apple AAPL,
CEO Tim Cook said on a post-earnings conference call on Thursday.
Prices Apple One $ 15 a month to $ 30 a month, with a 30-day free trial for new services. This includes access to Apple Music streaming service, Apple TV + video streaming service, Apple Arcade online video game service, and Apple Cloud storage service. The higher priced levels will provide more cloud storage and additional services, such as Apple News + and upcoming Apple Fitness +.
The services will still be available for single subscription.
The package is expected to boost revenue for Apple’s service sector, and provide Apple with another steady revenue stream that is less dependent on sales of new devices.
Apple reported Thursday that its fiscal fourth quarter Services revenue jumped to a record $ 14.55 billion From $ 12.51 billion a year earlier, CFO Luca Maestre said the company expects its services business to grow by double digits in the quarter ending December.
Apple shares declined in extended trade Thursday, but rose 57% year-to-date, versus a 6.6% drop this year by the DJIA.
It is one of its components.
