The Sun has unofficially reported that the 2008 winner of British show The X Factor will play a character inspired by Tina Turner in a major BBC production. It is said that the singer, in order to have legs like Turner, got an expensive stationary bike.

The BBC and the British Film Institute are planning a massive production inspired by the life of Tina Turner, which will premiere in 2022. The main character, according to “The Sun”, is set to be created by a aged British singer. 32 years old Alexandra Burke. In the film, he plays a young artist, like Tina, who is trying to make a breakthrough in her career. She will sing some of her most famous songs. Alex’s excitement is an understatement, says the newspaper informant.

It will be Burke’s debut on the big screen. To date, as an actress, she has already managed to prove herself on the West End stage of London, appearing in the musicals “Chicago” and “The Bodyguard”.
