Excavation work in close proximity to trees is carried out manually, practically without damaging the root systems and without the use of heavy equipment in the scheme of tree crowns. To protect against accidental mechanical damage, the boxes are decorated outside. In addition, a spare space has been maintained under the allocated area Tree Protection Area – SOD. The project “Revitalization of the Public Space District and Development of the Downtown Department of Aleja Wojska Polskiego in Szczecin” has been carried out in Szczecin since 2014. Due to its unique solutions, it was awarded a grant in the competition of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development entitled “Revival of the City Model”. Activities under the project focus on improving the quality of public spaces in the Aleja Wojska Polskiego district, the living conditions of residents and business management. They are accompanied by various social undertakings.

Design, tender and implementation – yes, you can briefly describe the stages of the investment task related to giving a new quality to Wojska Polskiego Street. The residents themselves decided what the longest street of our city would look like after the reconstruction, and during numerous meetings and consultations, they indicated the preferred direction of the changes. A subsequent architectural competition gave these images a real look. The winning vision for the Architectural Competition for the Development of Public Spaces in the Wojska Polskiego Avenue District was submitted by Pracownia Architektoniczna ARCHAID Jacek Szewczyk.
