berlin – Big trouble for the AfD faction in Brandenburg! After the Christmas party in the Potsdam State Parliament, right-wing extremists were left in disarray. Because even they started a fire there, now there are consequences.
Splinters, liquor and leftovers: The staff of the state parliament administration could not believe their eyes when they entered the AfD’s parliamentary assembly hall Thursday morning. Everywhere there were empty bottles, broken glasses, and plates dirty with goose bones.
Horror in Parliament: “We have not seen anything like it here,” said the House management. “Actually, the staff of the parliamentary group must put the room in order again by morning,” Dennis Hohloch, managing director of the AfD, 33, told Bild.
► THE TOP: Employees discovered a burnt pot of fuel paste on a table. “Maybe the Christmas goose was warmed by the fire,” Hohloch admitted.
“Fire protection regulations prohibit handling fire and open flames in the state parliament building,” a state parliament spokesperson told BILD, “nor was there a special permit for a Christmas party from the AfD parliamentary group.”
This could prove costly for right-wing extremists. “The damages will be determined in the meeting room and must be replaced, and we will send the bill to the applicant personally so that the tax money is not used to compensate for the damage,” said a state parliament spokesperson.
