Exciting news from the zoo in Hodonin, Czech Republic. According to the zoo’s management, storms and tornadoes that passed over southern Moravia on Thursday led to a disaster.

According to Hodonin Zoo staff, much of the center and facility buildings were destroyed by storms. The dog shelter, which is also taken care of by the staff of the zoo in the Czech Republic, is in the worst condition.
“We have barely recovered after several months of the closure of the zoo, and here is another disaster. In yesterday’s storm, we almost completely lost the shelter, which will have to be rebuilt almost from scratch” – reads the statement from the Hodonin Zoo.
