Deputy Minister Włodzimierz Bernacki participated in the 6th Polish Congress of Genetics

The Sixth Polish Congress of Genetics is held in Krakow. The deliberations are held in four thematic sections – human, animal and plant genetics and microorganisms. The opening ceremony was attended by Włodzimierz Bernacki, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and Science.
Deputy Minister Włodzimierz Bernacki appreciated the initiative and emphasized that the conference is not only a source of inspiration for researchers and scientists dealing with genetics, but to a large extent is the culmination of their annual scientific and research work. The MEiN Secretary of State read a letter sent by the Minister of Education and Science to the event participants.
– I am glad that the need to reflect, as well as to present the achievements to date and to discuss the current problems and future directions of the development of genetics prompted you to organize this prestigious event for the sixth time – wrote Minister Przemyslaw Czarnik in a letter read during the opening ceremony of the VI Polish Genetics Congress.
The Minister of Education and Science expressed his conviction that the deliberations would lead to the exchange of valuable experiences and become an opportunity for scientific cooperation: – I strongly believe that a multifaceted view of the issue of genetics will open up interesting discussions and will stimulate further research.
6th Polish Congress of Genetics
The Polish Genetics Congress is a regular event that brings together Polish scientists and diagnosticians dealing with the widely understood genes of humans, animals, plants and microorganisms. During the conference, the latest achievements in genetics research in Poland will be presented and new directions for its development will be identified.
The event was organized by the Polish Genetic Society and the Polish Society of Human Genetics. It will start from 27-30 June. The conference takes place in a hybrid format.
