The Minister of Education and Science, Przemyslaw Czarnik, participated in the ceremony of signing the founding laws and laying the foundation stone for the construction of kindergartens in Gornik and Struczy in the Milenice Poviat district, in the Lesser Poland Province. These are the following investments for the implementation of which funds have been allocated from the State Fund for Domestic Investments.
– Investing in kindergartens and schools is an investment in the future of our society and there is no doubt about it – said Minister Przemyslav Czarnik during the signing of the founding law and laying the foundation stone for the construction of a kindergarten in Strozha in the municipality of Pcim. The MEiN chief noted that the level of education in small towns often does not differ from that of large city centers, while the biggest problem in smaller towns has been infrastructure conditions for years.
The minister indicated that more funds are being transferred to local government investments in educational infrastructure. The head of MEiN said that support in the amount of 4.5 million PLN for the construction of a kindergarten in Strozha comes from the State Fund for Local Investments, whose budget for the whole country is 1 billion PLN. As for the funds from the Polish deal, an amount of PLN 3.2 billion has been guaranteed under the second version of the program, while PLN 2 billion have already been allocated from the first, giving a total of more than PLN 5 billion to local government investments in educational infrastructure. – This is a colossal expense that did not exist before – Minister Przemyslav Ksarnik emphasized.
The Self-Government Kindergarten in Stroz
The new investment will be placed in place of the demolished building of the pre-school department of the primary school in Stróży. A new unit will be built within its walls – the Stróży Autonomous Kindergarten, which will accommodate all five kindergarten departments in one place. Most importantly, the facilities will be designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities, and by providing new car parking and a complete communication infrastructure, parents will be able to take their children safely.
The project to build a new kindergarten received funding from the State Fund for Local Investments in the amount of PLN 4.5 million.
A local government kindergarten in Gornick
The Gornick Local Government Kindergarten Building will be built alongside the entire development of the area, including a playground, parking lots, pedestrian walkways, internal roads, and a fence in front of the primary school. According to the developed documents, the object of investment is a one-story building with a usable attic, in which there is a place for 125 children. The kindergarten will consist of four departments that can accommodate 25 children each, and a nursery department. The building will be equipped with full kitchen facilities.
As part of the investment, a bike town will also be built, located behind the building. Myślenice municipality has received funds from the State Fund for Local Investments in the amount of PLN 7.5 million for the construction of a local government kindergarten in Gornick.
