Minister Przemysław Czarnek participated in the 27th National Congress of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland

Minister of Education and Science Przemyslaw Czarnik participated in the question-and-answer session organized during the 27th National Congress of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland. The event, which ran from April 7-10, brought together student representatives from more than 90 universities from across the country.

The 27th National Congress of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland

This year, the first permanent meeting of the Students’ Parliament of the post-pandemic Republic of Poland was held. More than 300 students from all over Poland participated in it. They were able to develop their skills and competencies during trainings, workshops and discussion groups.

Minister Przemyslaw Czarnik emphasized that the National Congress of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland is one of the main events for the entire student community in Poland. He expressed the hope that participation in the project would allow young people to acquire knowledge and competencies that they would be able to use in their academic communities.

The President of MEiN participated in a question-and-answer session chaired by Mateusz Gruwski, President of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland. During the session, Minister Przemyslaw Czarnik presented issues related to the recruitment of people from Ukraine or financial support for students in the context of the planned legal changes. He also answered questions about a claim to change the maximum amount he is entitled to a social grant.

Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland

The Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland is an independent organization that represents all students in the country. The objective of the PSRP is, among other things, to support student activities and to represent students’ interests. Parliament also supports awareness-raising and development of social skills and competencies among young people.
