The forces of pro-Russian separatists in Donbass attacked the positions of the Ukrainian forces and the so far controlled areas of the Ukrainian army in Donetsk and Luhansk states, according to the separatists’ statements and news agency reports. They demanded that the Ukrainian army surrender. The separatists from Lugansk announced that they had begun an offensive against the city of Shasti, located about 30 kilometers from Lugansk. “We will storm the city of Szczegi.
