The Explory competition allows school science and technology enthusiasts to submit their research projects and be challenged with experts. It is also an opportunity to gain experience presenting your research. Projects selected by the jury will proceed to the regional phase of Explory 2022.

Science Festivals at Explory School are events organized by schools across Poland since 2017 in cooperation with the Explory programme. It is based on the Explora Competition methodology and regulations. Their goal is to encourage young people to create and develop scientific projects and inventions. As part of the festival, the school stage of the Explora competition is held, where students of a particular school present their research projects and inventions, as well as lectures and workshops.

During the festivals, school talents are selected and the best projects will be presented in the regional stage of the Explora competition. In this year’s edition, up to 16 new events are planned! In addition to substantive support from the Explora Program organizers – the Foundation for Advanced Technologies – the schools also received financial support to cover organizational costs under the Explora Festival Grant Program.

– Participants in the Exploratory School Festival gain experience in creating their own research projects and inventions. During the event, they learn design working methods and present their own ideas to the jury. They also have a unique opportunity to be confronted with experts – giving them the knowledge on how to develop the project further. This is how young talent is born. We are excited that up to 16 Explora School Festivals are being organized! — says Joanna Gogolinska, director of the Foundation for Advanced Technologies.
