Are you also dissatisfied with British series and missing out on new episodes of Downton Abbey or Peaky Blinders? I have good news for you – in twelve days or so, the cult DA creator series will be coming to Netflix, which looks…awesome!

British soap operas are great. He is short, stocky and will stay with viewers longer. Maybe it’s the magic of Great Britain, or maybe the magic of dialect, or maybe… just a different approach to the topic that makes viewers love them so much. Downton Abbey fell in love with viewers from all over the world, as did Broadchurch or Peaky Blinders. The first and third series were in the title of this post for a reason: Looking at the trailer for the latest British series on Netflix, I couldn’t help but associate them with them.

The English Game: The New British Netflix Series

The English Gamet is a new series for which no one else is to blame, only Julian Fellowes himself – the creator of the cult DA. The series will consist of six episodes in which we follow the story with football coming to the fore. The story is set in 19th century England and is expected to be…interesting. While there would be plenty of sophistication and wealth in it, it would obviously also have sloppy factories and a more homey vibe. Anyway, what I will tell you, see for yourself:

The series will feature an all-star cast (including Johnsey Elmore, Edward Holcroft, Kevin Guthrie or Charlotte Hope), and I’m counting on beautiful visuals and a suspenseful plot. The English game will be shown for the first time soon. The series will premiere on Netflix on March 20, 2020.
