There was a situation in Great Britain that is simply ridiculous of the highway level in our country. Championship level Kent Kings postponed the next two home games due to the ongoing European Football Championship.

We are talking about matches against Leicester Lions (22 June) and Paul Pirates (29 June). According to the club, the European Cup 2020, and in particular the England national team matches, may negatively affect the attendance of fans in stadiums. There was a special announcement about the matter on the band’s website.

“The club can’t afford any losses. Especially now, due to restrictions related to COVID-19 we have a low attendance anyway. We can’t jeopardize our future” – we can read the words of Lynn Silver, co-promoter Kent Kings at Media Club.

New dates for both meetings have already been set. The Kent Kings face the Leicester Lions on September 14, and the Pool Pirates take place on July 27.
