The final halfpipe competition was held in Aspen. Rachel Karker and Aaron Plunk won in freestyle, Kim Chloe and Yuto Totsuka won in figure skating. After a hiatus of three years, Shawn White is back in competition.
The last half-tube competition was held in the American resort of Aspen. Buttermilk Halfpipe facility is well known to players because this year’s X Winter Games and World Championships are held there. This was the first and only start of the season in freestyle skiing. The women started first, and among them was Rachel Karker, runner-up of the best runner-up, who scored 93 points in two rounds and improved by 0.25 points in the last round. Second place, with a score of 91.50, was secured by Zoe Atkin (third in the World Cup), and veteran Brita Sigourney (89.00) completed the podium. Freshly baked world champion Eileen Joe did not start in the final.

The standard of men’s final competition was incredibly high. The highest score of 96.50 was achieved in the last round by double world champion Aaron Blank. Brendan Mackay finished second with 95.00, finishing second on the podium of his career, and only half a point behind world champion Nico Porteus.

The second and final competition of the season took place in figure skating. Undefeated that day first contest winner in Laax and double world champion Halfpipe Chloe Kim, who scored 90.50 points in the first round. She finished second in this year’s Queralt Castellet Championship (86.00), and completed the podium by Sena Tomita (82.50). In the overall ranking, Khloe Kim (200 points) won a full set of victories.

The men were the last to finish the competition. After a hiatus of three years, he began to compete with legend Shaun White, a three-time Olympic Half-Pipe champion, who began to Olympic qualification. The 34-year-old American showed that he had not yet forgotten how to ski, but on Sunday (March 21) he had to settle for fourth – the best among Americans. The winner was World Cup leader and world champion Yoto Totsuka, with a score of 91.75. His compatriot, Raibu Katayama, came second (86.75), and Andrei Hoflich (84.00) came in third, and this was his first podium in his career. Yoto Totsuka won the “Generalka” all points.
