A statement from the head of the natural anatomy department, Prof. Szpindy, addressed to the Discipline Spokesperson for Academic Educators at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, was posted by the university’s press office on Tuesday.

a. Shebinda confirmed that 232 students from the medical school took their last online exams on July 29, 2020, of whom 225 students got positive grades and seven negative grades. In the end, all medical school students passed the anatomy exam in the 2019/2020 academic year.
The lecturer stated that this academic year, first-year medical students took four online exams. In the final test on the Pelvic Subject, four of the 23 students who enrolled failed. On the other hand, about 50 percent of students passed the lower end in the only consistent final exam. the students.

The lecture on anatomy for first-year students was held remotely on the 1st of March, and was immediately followed by a conversation between three scientists – the professor. Szpindy and prof. Janusz Moryś from Gdańsk Medical University and Dean of CM UMK Medical School, Prof. Zbigniew Włodarczyk. After the lecture, the microphone did not turn off and the students listened to the conversation. The recording of the conversation has been sent to the media.
With regard to the registration disclosed by the professor. Szpinda was suspended from the Natural Anatomy course co-ordinator job, and the university’s discipline spokesperson has initiated a demonstration procedure.
