Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum – one of the most important auto museums in the world located in Timmelsjuice, 2,200 meters above sea level, burned down on Monday. Nothing has been preserved from the collection of more than 250 cars, motorcycles and scooters.

At around 4:40 am, the museum’s fire alarm went off, and by the time the firefighters arrived, flames were already burning in the wooden building of the museum, local media reported. Sixty firefighters took part in extinguishing the fire, and its spread was restricted to a nearby restaurant and neighboring buildings. The museum’s wooden building could not be saved.

No one died in the fire. There is no information yet on why this is so.
